Welcome to YA Scavenger Hunt! This bi-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors…and a chance to win some awesome prizes! At this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize–one lucky winner will receive one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 72 hours!

Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are SIX contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or all! I am a part of the GREEN TEAM–but there is also a red team, a blue team, a gold team, an orange team, and a purple team for a chance to win a whole different set of books!

If you’d like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page.

  • Directions: Below, you’ll notice that I’ve listed my favorite number. Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the green team, and then add them up (don’t worry, you can use a calculator!).
  • Entry Form: Once you’ve added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.
  • Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by October 9th, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Today, I am hosting not one but six authors on my website for the YA Scavenger Hunt! ReMade is team written by Matthew Cody (POWERLESS), E.C. Myers (FAIR COIN), Carrie Harris (BAD TASTE IN BOYS), Gwenda Bond (GIRL ON A WIRE), Andrea Phillips (REVISION), and Kiersten White (AND I DARKEN).

Find out more information by checking out the Serial Box website or find more about REMADE here!

Authors Matthew Cody, Carrie Harris, Andrea Phillips, E. C. Myers, Gwenda Bond, and Kiersten White

Every minute, 108 people die. In one of those minutes this Fall, twenty-three of those deaths will be teenagers. Now they are humanity’s last hope for survival. Awakened in a post-apocalyptic world and hunted by mechanical horrors, these teens search for answers amidst the ruins of civilization. Fate, love, and loyalty face off in this adrenaline -pumping YA adventure.

ReMade is a 15 part serial presented by Serial Box Publishing. Read or listen to the first episode for free at SerialBox.com/serials/ReMade!

For the hunt, the ReMade Team is revealing two characters from their ragtag group of displaced teens! They enlisted artist Chris Boatright from AskTheStarGazers to bring their characters to life. Readers and listeners can get to know Neveah and Loki in episodes 3 and 4 of ReMade!
Neveah Kraft had lived on the cusp of death for so long that the final sleep was hardly a surprise – waking up, however, is something she never expected.
Loki was a gamer used to getting a second life, but after everything that’s happened, he’s not sure he even wants one.

And don’t forget to enter the contest for a chance to win a ton of books by me, the ReMade author team, and more! To enter, you need to know that my favorite number is 81. Add up all the favorite numbers of the authors on the green team and you’ll have all the secret code to enter for the grand prize!

Want a chance to win even more books? My debut novel, If I Fix You, was was blurbed by some of my favorite YA authors, so I’m giving away your choice of their latest books: Glitter by Aprilynne Pike, The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West, The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick, or A Step Toward Falling by Cammie McGovern. About Abigail

Abigail Johnson was born in Pennsylvania. When she was twelve, her family traded in snowstorms for year-round summers and moved to Arizona. Abigail chronicled the entire cross-country road trip in a purple spiral-bound notebook that she still has, and has been writing ever since. She became a tetraplegic after breaking her neck in a car accident when she was seventeen but hasn’t let that stop her from bodysurfing in Mexico, writing and directing a high-school production of Cinderella, and riding roller coasters every chance she gets. She is the author of several young adult novels including If I Fix You and Every Other Weekend. She is represented by Kim Lionetti at BookEnds Literary Agency.
